Information

Qingpu Metro Station is located in Qingpu District of Shanghai China. This train station will become important train line connecting downtown Shanghai area to the western region of Qingpu district. Qingpu is known for its meandering canals, along with strong agriculture farming culture. As it sits close just west of high-density urban districts of Shanghai, this area is also positioned to become an attractive, livable place for new businesses, research and development facilities, and residential neighborhoods. To the north of the site is a future development that promises bustling activity with new office buildings and residential complexes. To the south, the train station is surrounded by agricultural plains, canals, and a small town with local community facilities such as a church. The importance of canals and agriculture was very apparent from the start of the project. The project was envisioned as a gateway to Qingpu that intersects infrastructure, innovative architecture, and agricultural landscape.
