Dubai Creek Harbour – A Living Icon for a Regenerative City
The DNA Tower is conceived as a living architecture that embodies the very structure of human existence—Body, Mind, Soul, and Spirit. An organism that evolves over time through user needs. It is a living ecosystem that breathes, feels and adapts to becoming a self-sustaining urban metabolism.
At its heart lies the Spirit, a central core wrapped by three semi-spines that spiral like helical filaments.
This configuration recalls the double helix of DNA, universal symbol of life, and resonates with sacred geometry: the golden section, the circle of infinity, and the cosmic triad.
By fusing these archetypes, the tower becomes an architectural organism that unites science, spirituality, and nature, proposing a new paradigm for desert cities.
Its island site in Creek Harbour creates a visual link between the Calatrava Tower, Central Park, and the Arabian Gulf, positioning the building as a bioluminescent lighthouse—a beacon of life, data, and sustainable energy.
Urban Regeneration & Social Inclusion
The DNA Tower acts as the catalyst of a wider urban loop of regeneration.
Located at the gateway of Dubai Creek Harbour, the tower connects the Dubai Creek Loop and the Sand Towers masterplan, creating a continuous pedestrian and cycling network that reconnects the waterfront with Central Park and the Arabian Gulf.
A new public plaza at the base becomes a shaded oasis-square, integrating retail, cultural venues, wellness pavilions, and water gardens accessible to all citizens.
Elevated walkways extend from the podium to the Loop, forming an urban balcony that promotes slow mobility and active lifestyles while reducing car dependency.
The integration of vertical biospheres with ground-level wetlands creates a multi-scalar ecosystem where biodiversity, human activity, and data flows coexist.
