King Khalid International Airport Terminals 3 & 4

We set out to design a space that can ease the travel experience for the masses, while still reflecting the culture of the region. The original airport was built more than 40 years ago. We were tasked to work on Terminal Four, which had been left unused all these years. Terminal Four was a blank canvas at the end of the airport and it acts as a testament of what the airport could become as part of Saudi Arabia’s 2030 vision. With the overall goal of expansion in mind, we were able to envision a Saudi Arabia 10-20 years from now, where more people and more business are expected, and how design could be a part of shaping that future.
