Jumeirah Beach Residence

With 36 residential towers, five hotel towers, 100 + restaurants and an ability to accommodate 15,000 people over 70,000 m², Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) is one of the largest mixed use developments in the Middle East. During the construction of JBR, the design of which had always incorporated a manual waste collection strategy based on conventional bins, the developer concluded that traditional waste collection would not effectively handle the projected waste volumes of 35 tonnes each day. The decision to implement Envac’s Pneumatic Waste Collection System (PWCS) saved the developer time, space and costs related to the manual collection of waste.
