This Middle East ‘medical city’ proposal combines a state-of-the-art hospital with laboratories, a research centre, hotel and VIP reception complete with health club and helipad.
Designed to support medical tourism, it functions as a ‘destination development’ where families can stay together with their loved ones while they receive treatment.
The compact composition adopts an iconic form and makes extensive use of solar shading devices to reduce energy consumption.
The sustainability agenda is further strengthened by the site’s mixed-use programme, which works to reduce car journeys.
We strongly believe that development should be regenerative – improving outcomes for both the environment and for people.
