The Sports Boulevard is one of Riyadh’s mega projects launched by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, on March 19th, 2019, chaired by HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Sports Boulevard Foundation Board.
The project is the world’s largest linear park and one of the largest urban regeneration projects in Riyadh, stretching over 135km, connecting Wadi Hanifah in the west to Wadi Al Sulai in the east on Prince Mohammed bin Salman Road, and transforming brownfield land into a vibrant linear park with a network of safe naturally landscaped pathways for cyclists, pedestrians, horse riders, and athletes alike. It will encourage Riyadh’s residents to follow a healthy lifestyle through participation in various sporting activities. In addition, there are several unique destinations and investment zones.
