Diriyah Company (DC) was established in 2022, is the development successor of Diriyah Gate Development Authority, and is responsible for developing Diriyah, Saudi Arabia’s foremost historical, cultural and lifestyle destination. A Public Investment Fund (PIF) Company, Diriyah Company’s mission is to reestablish Diriyah’s position as a globally significant destination and one of the world’s greatest gathering places. The development is anchored by At-Turaif, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the birthplace of modern-day Saudi Arabia.

Diriyah Company is ensuring Diriyah’s cultural landmarks are complemented by world-class retail offerings, fine-dining experiences and leading hospitality brands.

Diriyah Company (DC) is working towards making Diriyah one of the region’s foremost destinations for historical and cultural knowledge-sharing activities.

A key aspect of the development is the first stage of the renewal and restoration of two square kilometers of the historic Wadi Hanifah, forming part of the Diriyah masterplan.

These enhancements include the restoration of the historic palm groves and farms, combined with new walking trails and picnic areas for the community to gather and enjoy.

A three-kilometer (36-minute) escarpment walk overlooks Wadi Hanifah and At-Turaif.
